Why Kurt started the business
After beginning his career in 2012 as a refrigeration and air conditioning apprentice, Kurt Ryan went on to further his skills by completing a second apprenticeship as an electrician.
With a vision of delivering honest, reliable service to local homeowners and businesses, Kurt and his wife Millie founded Ryan Airlectric in 2022. As the business continued to grow, the name evolved to better reflect both the services offered and the community it proudly serves.
In 2024, Forster Airconditioning & Electrical was established, creating a brand that is instantly recognisable to local customers throughout Forster-Tuncurry and the surrounding region.
Today, the business remains proudly family owned and operated, with Kurt and Millie committed to providing the kind of genuine service and honest advice that customers can rely on.
A customer-first approach
As a fully licensed electrical and air conditioning contractor, Kurt believes in recommending solutions that are right for the customer, not simply the ones that generate the biggest sale. Whether the team is working in a family home, commercial premises or investment property, their focus is always on delivering reliable outcomes and a positive customer experience.
Life outside of work
When he's not working, Kurt enjoys making the most of everything the Mid North Coast has to offer. He and his family love spending time at the beach, exploring local tracks in the four-wheel drive, visiting community markets and supporting local businesses throughout the region.
On his RDO every second Friday, you'll often find Kurt at playgroup with his daughter, and when time allows, enjoying a round of golf.
He's also a passionate Bulldogs supporter and a huge motorsport fan, particularly when it comes to V8 Supercars.
